Also, 95% of mobile users look up local information on their phones and the primary functions are calling or visiting a business. This means it is imperative that a small business is being found in the online local ecosystem when a user does a search.
  • With more than 20% of mobile search queries (being voice search queries and expected to reach 50% by 2020, it is critical that your business is accessible via voice search.
  • The Local SEO value proposition will evolve as a combination of managed services + technology platforms. Technology such as a single sign-on dashboard and mobile app obviously makes local marketing much easier in many ways by automating things, but managing a proper local business listing and local SEO program requires human effort to dig into the data, channels, performance and strategy in order to better optimize for improved ROI.
