STEPS TO SETUP NEW DASHBOARD VERSION 8

STEPS TO SETUP DASHBOARD VERSION 8 (TO BE USED CONCURRENTLY WITH VERSION 7)

1: Access the domain hosting management tool for your website, such as www.abc.com. If you're using cPanel, the direct URL usually takes the form of http://abc.com/cpanel or https://abc.com:2083 for a secure connection.

2: Navigate to the Domain Settings page and choose "Manage DNS" to access the DNS Management settings.

3: In the Records section of the DNS Management page, click on the "Add" button. Then, from the Type drop-down menu, select "A".
 
4: Complete the required fields:

4.1. Host
Specify the host name that the A record will link to. If you intend to direct it to a new sub-domain, include the name of the subdomain here. For instance, if you aim to direct it to newdashboard.abc.com, add "newdashboard" in this field. The subdomain will be automatically generated in this scenario.
4.2. Points to
Enter the IP address that you are setting as the destination for the host. In this case, it will be our dashboard server for Version 8. Add the IP address 54.39.161.165 here.
4.3. TL
Leave this at its default value, which is typically "1 hour".

5: Click Save.

Note: Please note that all DNS changes may take 24 to 48 hours to fully update across global networks. Once your DNS is resolved, please inform us so that our team can proceed with setting up the SSL secure certificate for your new dashboard domain.

STEPS TO DIRECTLY REPLACE DASHBOARD VERSION 7 WITH VERSION 8

Suppose your current dashboard URL is dashboard.mycompany.com (Version 7).

To seamlessly replace this version with the new Version 8 on the same URL, simply substitute the current IP address (158.69.28.88) in your dashboard domain’s A record with the new Version 8 IP address, which is 54.39.161.165 (Refer step 4.2 above)
